Jake leads the Homeownership division at Community Housing Partners (CHP), shaping its overall direction and strategy. The department focuses on creating homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income households. Under his leadership, CHP's Homeownership teams include Housing Counseling & Education, Realty, Lending, and Single-Family Development. In addition, Jake serves as Executive Director for the New River Home Trust, a community land trust serving the New River Valley in Southwest Virginia.

Jake joined CHP in 2015, after spending 10 years in banking and finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in business administration from Virginia Tech. Jake currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fahe, Inc., a Kentucky-based nonprofit dedicated to eliminating persistent poverty in Appalachia. In this role, he brings a Virginia perspective to regional and national discussions on advancing healthy communities.
